Mini Pollinator Garden for Kids

This hands-on activity is designed to teach children about the importance of pollinators while allowing them to create their own mini garden to take home.

Each child will receive two perennial plants, one annual, soil, and a pot to build a personal pollinator-friendly garden. As they plant, they’ll learn what pollinators are—such as bees, butterflies, and other helpful insects—and how these creatures support a healthy ecosystem.

In addition to planting, kids will also get natural materials like rocks and sticks to paint, color, and decorate their gardens, adding a creative touch to their learning experience.

This activity encourages environmental awareness, creativity, and a love for nature—perfect for young, curious minds.
